Position Overview:

A Lead is a subject matter expert who coaches, motivates and guides operational work performed by their peers. Leads are responsible for monitoring and reporting any extraordinary performance or deviations from operational standards. As a Lead Ramp Agent/Cabin Cleaner, you will work as part of a team delivering safe and efficient aircraft services will providing highest level of customer service, keeping passenger and aircraft moving safely and on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

Ensures all QAS and customer safety standards are met and maintained;

Properly and safely loads and unloads passenger bags and freight.

Protects passenger bags and freight from elements, damage and vandalism;

Holds equipment certifications and operates equipment safely;

Responsible for aircraft cabin cleaning, to include: seats, seat back pockets, floors, pantries, galleys, toilets, telephones, windows, flight deck (if specified), and passenger & crew compartments; removing trash; wiping tables' and clearing waste from aircraft;

Performs cabin dressing, to include: arranging seat belts; replacing head rests, pillow covers, & seat back pocket items; restocking toilet items and blankets/duvets; and disinfecting/deodorizing aircraft as stated;

Must successfully complete all training classes.

Required Skills and Experience:

Prior experience in an aircraft baggage handling is preferred;

Leadership experience in prior positions is a plus;

Knowledge of aircraft cargo equipment such as ULDs, cans, dollies, and tugs;

Prior experience with K-loaders preferred;

Loading and off-loading of aircraft cargo and passenger baggage;

High school diploma or equivalent;

Maintain and treat all information as confidential;

Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives;

Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English;

Must be able to verbally direct in English;

A valid driver's license is required for this position;

Must have or be able to obtain a SIDA airport badge;

Bilingual a plus;

This position requires a employees to obtain a US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seal. Orlando CBP requires US citizenship or US permanent resident status in order to receive a CBP seal.

Work Environment:

Physically strenuous, prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to noise (may be excessive at times), safe but potentially unpleasant odors, varying temperatures and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment;

Prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to prevalent weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes and noise, in or around heavy equipment and moving vehicles.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; speak and hear efficiently;

Able to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds at times;

Ability to climb ladders of up to 15 feet in height;

Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling
