We’re looking for a hands-on leader who can embrace the heart and energy of camp while bringing strong operational leadership, organization, accountability, and vision to the program.

As Camp Royall Director, you’ll provide overall leadership for a complex, year-round camp operation, including:

  • Facilities & Risk Management: Help oversee the operational needs of Camp Royall’s 133-acre property, partnering with property staff and organizational leadership on maintenance, facility improvements, emergency preparedness, and risk management.

  • Recruitment, Partnerships & Growth: Support camper enrollment and the recruitment of seasonal staff, interns, and volunteers while collaborating with ASNC teams, donors, and community partners to strengthen Camp Royall’s reach and long-term success.

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Lead with a balance of support, accountability, and clear expectations.

  • Are highly organized and able to manage competing priorities with strong follow-through.

  • Communicate confidently and build strong relationships with staff, families, organizational leadership, and community partners.

  • Remain calm, adaptable, and solutions-focused when unexpected challenges arise.

  • Understand that exceptional programs require both a strong mission and strong systems behind them.

Qualifications

Strong candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university

  • At least two years of supervisory or management experience in a residential camp, recreation, human services, or similar program setting,

  • At least four years of supervised experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities

Experience leading a residential camp, summer camp, recreation program, or similarly complex operation is strongly preferred.

Compensation, Benefits & Housing

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 annually, based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Optional on-site housing may be available and can be discussed as part of the overall compensation package. Base salary will be adjusted for candidates who elect to utilize employer-provided housing.

ASNC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Paid vacation, sick leave, wellness days, and holidays
