Job description

The Fitness Center at the Buffalo Grove Park District is seeking an experienced swim coach to lead adult swim classes and private lessons.ย 

DESCRIPTION
The Adult Swim Coach is responsible for supervising and leading adult swim classes and private lessons. Responsibilities include designing and leading structured swim classes for members of all levels. The ideal candidate will be responsible, possess a positive attitude, and have a passion for helping others improve their swimming and fitness.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous coaching or competitive swimming experience.ย 
Strong understanding of swim strokes, drills, and training methods.
CPR/AED and Lifeguard training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
USA swimming or USMS coaching certification
STARTING WAGE RANGE
$40.50-60/hr depending on progam (small group training, learn to swim class, triathlon training, and master swim).
$20 for a half hour private lesson

Freeย Fitness Center pass for employees who work 8 hours or more per week, along with other discounts towards Park District programs.ย
