Job description
Kulite has immediate openings for eager, sharp-minded undergraduate students for internship positions in various departments. Students will be paired with a Mentor who will guide them in completion of an Internship Project. Internship Projects will be hands-on Engineering projects that will both provide benefit to the Company as well as enrich the students’ engineering education by exposing them to practical problems in a manufacturing environment. Kulite designs and manufactures cutting edge sensing technology for markets such as Aerospace, Space Launch, Undersea and Automotive Test and Racing (F1). Examples of past projects include:
- Researching, choosing, purchasing and characterizing a 3D Printer
- Creating a digital transducer calibration system
- Performing a study to maximize production line efficiency
- Analysis of electrical properties of Parylene films
- Building and implementing a demo for a new acoustic compensation product
- Follow all Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Standards.
Requirements:
- Students in disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical Engineering as well as Materials Science and Physics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
