3D Rendering / Product Visualization Specialist (Part-time)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Rendering / Product Visualization Specialist to create premium, photorealistic visual assets for its watches and other product requirements. This person will primarily support the company with high-quality product visualization for e-commerce, marketing, product launches, campaigns, and brand initiatives.

For a watch company, detail is critical. The successful candidate should understand how to realistically represent materials such as metals, glass, watch faces, straps, textures, reflections, finishes, and small product details while maintaining a polished commercial aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality, photorealistic 3D renders of watches and related products.
  • Develop polished product visuals suitable for commercial and marketing applications.
  • Accurately represent materials, textures, finishes, colors, reflections, and product details.
  • Create visually compelling product compositions while maintaining product accuracy.
  • Produce multiple angles, variations, configurations, and finishes where required.
  • Refine existing 3D assets and models when necessary.
  • Produce 3D imagery for upcoming product launches.
  • Create hero visuals highlighting new watch designs and product features.
  • Develop product assets that can be used before or alongside traditional product photography.
  • Support simultaneous product development and launch timelines.
  • Work with the team to translate new product concepts into compelling commercial visuals.
  • Build realistic lighting environments for premium product visualization.
  • Develop materials and shaders that accurately represent the physical product.
  • Reproduce reflective surfaces such as metal and glass convincingly.
  • Maintain consistency between rendered products and their real-world appearance.
  • Create imagery with the visual polish expected of a premium consumer brand.
  • Create clean product renders suitable for e-commerce product pages.
  • Develop multiple product angles and detail shots.
  • Produce visual assets for website banners, landing pages, product pages, and collections.
  • Collaborate with the Graphic / Brand Designer to ensure renders can be incorporated effectively into finished marketing assets.
  • Produce 3D assets for paid advertising, social media, email, website campaigns, and product launches.
  • Create more conceptual or lifestyle-oriented 3D compositions where required.
  • Adapt product renders for different campaign requirements and formats.
  • Support creative development for Canadian, U.S., and international marketing initiatives.
  • Provide additional 3D capacity during the company's rebrand.
  • Help develop product imagery consistent with the evolving visual identity.
  • Support the increased creative workload ahead of the Q4 holiday season.
  • Produce seasonal and gifting-focused product imagery where required.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Professional experience in 3D Product Rendering, Product Visualization, CGI, or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating photorealistic commercial product rendering.
  • The ideal candidate should have an excellent understanding of lighting, materials, texturing, reflections, composition, and product visualization.
  • Strong attention to detail and product accuracy.
  • Ability to produce polished, commercially usable imagery.
  • Experience taking creative direction and translating it into final visual output.
  • Ability to work independently within a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational and deadline-management skills.
Preferred/Nice to Have:
  • Experience with DTC and e-commerce brands, particularly within Shopify environments, as well as experience in the watches, jewelry, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
  • A background in managing rebrands, product launches, and performance marketing for international consumer brands, with a strong understanding of premium or luxury visual identities.
  • Proficiency in integrating 3D product renders into designs and experience supporting seasonal retail campaigns, such as Black Friday and holiday gifting.
