Overview

WakeMed is hiring a 3D Technologist to join our Imaging Services team. In this specialized role, you'll use advanced imaging software and technology to create and manipulate diagnostic images that support radiologists and providers in identifying and evaluating anatomical abnormalities. Working with complex CT, MRI, and other advanced imaging studies, you'll play a vital role in helping clinicians make accurate diagnoses while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
What you'll do
• Create, process, and manipulate advanced diagnostic images using 3D imaging software to support radiologist interpretation and patient care.
• Perform imaging procedures and produce high-quality images in accordance with physician orders, established protocols, and departmental standards.
• Review patient information and imaging orders, prioritize workflow, and prepare equipment and resources for procedures.
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and condition during imaging procedures, communicating any concerns or changes to the appropriate provider.
• Accurately document imaging data and procedure information while supporting equipment quality, maintenance, and operational readiness.
Who you are
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT) and Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography (CT), or Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Experienced in working with advanced imaging technology and committed to producing high-quality diagnostic studies.
• Detail-oriented with strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative healthcare professional who values patient-centered care, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
