About the Role:

The Second Shift Production Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing and managing all production activities during the second shift to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for leading a team of production workers, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. The supervisor will coordinate with other departments to meet production goals while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements. They will also identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues. Ultimately, the role ensures that production targets are met consistently while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to work second shift hours consistently.
  • Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing.
  • Previous experience supervising workforce.
  • safety management or production supervision.
  • Strong leadership training or professional development credentials.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the second shift to meet production schedules and quality standards.
