To thrive as an Internet Rater, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly evaluate web content according to specific guidelines, often requiring a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with web browsers, online research tools, and proprietary rating platforms or training modules provided by employers is beneficial. Excellent time management, self-motivation, and effective written communication help Internet Raters excel while working independently. These skills ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in content evaluation, which are essential for delivering reliable results to employers.

How to become an internet rater?

To become an internet rater, you typically need a high school diploma or equivalent and strong computer skills. Many companies require candidates to pass a test assessing their ability to evaluate search engine results and content quality, and some roles may require familiarity with specific tools or platforms. Flexibility and attention to detail are important for success in this role.

What does an internet rater do?

An internet rater evaluates online content, such as search results, advertisements, or social media posts, to assess their relevance, accuracy, and quality. What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

Internet Raters typically do not earn $4,000 per week; their pay is usually hourly or per task and varies widely. High-paying roles that can reach this level without a degree are rare and often involve sales, entrepreneurship, or specialized trades, but they generally require experience, skills, or certifications. Most jobs paying this amount consistently without a degree are in sales, real estate, or business ownership, rather than remote or online roles like internet rating.

What is an Internet Rater job?

An Internet Rater is a remote, part-time worker who evaluates and rates online content, such as search engine results, ads, and websites, for relevance and quality. They follow specific guidelines provided by the hiring company to ensure that search results and digital experiences are accurate and useful for users. The role typically requires strong analytical skills, fluency in the target language, and familiarity with online culture.

How to make $1000 a week remotely?

Internet raters can increase earnings by working multiple platforms, taking on higher-paying projects, and improving their skills in data analysis and online research. Consistent, efficient work and building a good reputation can help reach higher weekly income goals, but earning $1000 a week may require full-time commitment and diverse tasks.

What does a typical workday look like for an Internet Rater?

As an Internet Rater, your workday typically involves independently reviewing and evaluating various web search results, advertisements, or images to determine their relevance and quality based on detailed guidelines provided by the company. Tasks are generally completed remotely, allowing for a flexible schedule, though you may need to meet certain hourly quotas or daily assignments. While Internet Raters often work independently, some roles may include periodic team meetings or online forums for support and updates. Job description

Description:

Company & Department: GigabitNow | Sales & Marketing

Position Type: Full-Time

Strategic Focus: High-Velocity Residential Sales Leadership & Local Acquisition

Job Summary

For over 35 years, GigabitNow has been a trusted leader in connecting communities to what matters most. We deliver hyper-fast, ultra-reliable Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) internet directly to the residents we serve. In Indiana, we are proudly expanding our footprint and bringing world-class internet infrastructure to neighborhoods across Bloomington, Columbus, and Shelbyville.

As the Sales and Marketing Manager, your primary mandate is to aggressively scale our residential subscriber base in these key single-family home markets. Leading a high-energy team of field sales representatives and community brand ambassadors, you will design and execute hyper-local marketing strategies that penetrate target neighborhoods and maximize overall subscriber take-rates in active fiber buildouts. You are a highly competitive, metrics-driven leader who knows how to inspire a team, win local market share from legacy cable competitors, and hit volume targets.

Core Responsibilities

  1. High-Performance Sales Team Leadership
  • Drive Team Production: Recruit, onboard, and manage a local team of residential field sales representatives and community brand ambassadors tasked with hitting daily, weekly, and monthly acquisition quotas.
  • Aggressive Field Coaching: Spend significant time in the trenches with your team, actively coaching them on direct consumer outreach, consultative closing techniques, and handling competitor objections.
  • Quota Accountability: Monitor team metrics, track individual sales funnels, and implement performance improvement plans or incentives to ensure the entire territory hits its growth goals.
  1. Hyper-Local Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution
  • Maximize Fiber Take-Rates: Plan and deploy targeted neighborhood marketing campaigns (direct mail, door hangers, geo-targeted local digital ads) optimized for specific fiber construction and network activation phases to drive immediate sign-ups.
  • High-Yield Event Activation: Own the local event calendar. Identify, secure, and manage GigabitNow's presence at HOA meetings, neighborhood block parties, farmers markets, and local festivalsโ€”transforming community presence into a high-volume lead and sales generator.
  • Competitive Conquesting: Monitor local competitor pricing, promotions, and infrastructure limitations. Arm your sales team with targeted campaigns designed to convince legacy cable and satellite users to switch to GigabitNow fiber.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation Structure: Competitive base salary plus bonuses based on territory growth performance.
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive full benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
  • Financial Security: 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Work-Life Balance: Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.
  • Perks: Company-provided branded vehicle for business travel, field leadership, and events.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Gross Residential Sign-Ups: Total monthly and quarterly residential fiber subscriptions secured by your local territory.
  • Neighborhood Take-Rate: The percentage of homes passed in a target neighborhood that convert to GigabitNow subscribers.
  • Cost Per Acquisition (CPA): Managing the local event and marketing collateral budget efficiently against total volume generated.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Sales Management: 3+ years of experience directly managing, scaling, and driving quotas for a direct-to-consumer sales team (e.g., field sales, canvas teams, or high-velocity retail/event teams).
  • Acquisition Marketing: Proven track record of executing grassroots, neighborhood-level marketing strategies that result in measurable, rapid customer acquisition.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of residential telecom, broadband, or home utility markets, with the ability to confidently pitch fiber vs. traditional cable.
  • Driving & Travel: Must possess a valid Driverโ€™s License and a clean driving record to safely operate a company-provided branded vehicle for field management, territory travel, and event deployment.
  • Schedule Flexibility: This is a field-heavy role that requires working alongside your team during peak consumer hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for community events.
