Location:  Phoenix, AZ 85012
Duration: 2 Months
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Day Shift)
Hours/Week: 40
Pay Rate: Up to $20.00/hour (max budgeted rate)
Worksite Type: On-Site
Security Requirement: Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

 

 

Job Description:

Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance duties at the Clients Services facilities. This role ensures that building systems, equipment, and grounds are properly maintained and functioning efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems, including:
    • Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
    • Fire alarm and sprinkler systems
    • Overhead doors, gates, and automatic doors
    • Flooring, ceiling tiles, drywall, painting, and lighting
    • Emergency systems, door hardware, and elevators
  • Conduct inspections of buildings, tools, and equipment to ensure safe and proper operation.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation as directed by the supervisor.
  • Utilize basic computer and office equipment skills for recordkeeping and internet-based research.
  • Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with all maintenance policies and standards.
  • Assist with facility upkeep to support safe, functional, and well-maintained environments for staff and residents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Previous experience in building or facility maintenance
  • Technical Skills:
    • Basic knowledge of office equipment and computers
    • Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
    • Ability to conduct inspections and maintain tools and equipment in proper working order
  • Licensing/Security:
    • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required)
  • Other:
    • Must be a local candidate (Phoenix area)
