Position Overview

Vallejo Hyundai is seeking a driven and customer-focused Internet Sales Associate to manage inbound leads, respond to online inquiries, and convert digital opportunities into showroom traffic and vehicle sales.

This role is critical to our operation and requires speed, consistency, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the importance of follow-up, and is motivated by performance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to all internet leads (email, phone, text) promptly and professionally
  • Set, confirm, and manage customer appointments
  • Maintain consistent follow-up using CRM tools and processes
  • Engage customers with accurate vehicle information, pricing, and availability
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff and customer experience
  • Track lead activity, appointments, and conversions
  • Achieve and exceed KPIs including response time, appointment set rate, show rate, and sales conversion
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and digital communication skills

Qualifications
  • Prior automotive sales or BDC/internet sales experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of leads
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and digital communication tools
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
