Hill International is seeking an Advisor, Management Data Analysis in Pomona, California
Responsibilities
  • Apply advanced expertise in modeling, forecasting, and economic analysis, applying statistical, algorithmic, and economic methods to solve complex business problems and quantify performance.
  • Apply advanced experience to develop dashboards and visualization solutions using Power BI, Excel, SAS, and other BI tools.
  • Develop reports, metrics, insights, and executive ready narratives that translate analytical results into operational and strategic decision support.
  • Design, develop, and maintain end to end data engineering and data management solutions, including ETL, data modeling, data warehouses, and preparation of large, complex datasets for analytical and predictive use.
  • Understands the data to help identify patterns, trends, and opportunities to drive continuous improvement through process, upgrades, reporting features, and/or formats.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of project data.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation and provide data and analytical support to executives, managers, and cross functional operational teams.

Qualifications
  • A combination of education, training, and experience, generally equivalent to those typically possessed by a 4-year college graduate (from accredited institution in applicable profession, business, or science/technology/engineering/math).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience designing and delivering data engineering solutions.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Business Intelligence tools, SAS, and SAP.
  • Expert level Excel skills, including Power Query.
  • Knowledge of utility business operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Must be local to Southern California.
  • Remote position; but requires frequent mandatory meetings in Pomona, CA.
    The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
