Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Repair Welders for projects located in or around Arlington, TX. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $50-$80/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Structural steel welding
  • Pipe welding
  • Perform 6G open toot pipe weld test
  • Vertical & overhead welding
  • Read isometric drawings & blueprints
  • Fitups, layouts, tieins, repair welds, root, hotpass, fills, caps, cracks, etc.
  • Repair heavy machinery, buckets, booms, frames, plates, gouging, grinding, etc.
  • Produce welds meeting visual inspections & hydro/NDT standards
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in field welding (repairing excavator, buckets, dozer blades, loader buckets, cracked frames and structural members, etc.)
  • Proven experience in water pipeline welding, pipe welding, tank welding, boiler-making & structural steel
  • 6G pipe certification
  • Must have own rig 200-300 AMP welding machine (Lincoln or Miller preferred), truck (3/4 ton truck) and tools
  • OSHA10, OSHA 30 is preferred
  • Confined space & trench safety awareness
