Job description

Central Michigan University (CMU) College of Medicine and CMU Health in Saginaw, MI is looking for full-time BC/BE Rheumatologist to join our team. This role includes resident and medical student education.  There is an opportunity for a formal educational position, for those who desire programmatic leadership and have the requisite experience. CMU Healths affiliated hospitals (Ascension St. Marys and Covenant Healthcare) are located, in the Great Lakes Bay Region admired for its friendly communities and great quality of life.

Responsibilities

This is a Rheumatologist faculty position at the instructor or assistant professor level. Associate professor level candidates are welcome to apply as well.  Candidate will be mostly in outpatient faculty clinic. Additionally, medical student and resident education is expected.  CARE model (ones work effort allocation) to establish educational and or research allocation is commensurate with the individuals experience and skillset.

  • State of Michigan licensed or eligible
  • Board certified/Board eligible
  • Controlled Substance license
  • Must meet credentialing criteria
  • Leadership or educational experience preferred
