Opportunity Overview
Teradyne Solution Engineering Group (SEG)'s Program Management Office (PMO) is hiring a Project Manager in the central PMO team. This position is to provide project management guidance and oversight for Semiconductor ATE applications test solution projects defined for global customers. The following are the key roles and responsibilities:
  • Manage the complex cross functional integration for project that involves:
    • Teradyne and the key customers,
    • Project engineering and global applications field team,
    • Multiple worldwide regions (Asia, Europe and North America).
  • Ensuring project management best practice and process are applied.
  • Conducting project reviews:
    • Ensuring project execution meets expectations and gaps are resolved in a timely manner.
    • Facilitating communication at all levels in the project team and with the customer.
    • Collaborating in cross functional & regional integration issues.
  • Synthesize project progress and communicate status to key stakeholders, Teradyne senior management team and Teradyne's customer.
  • Identify when issues need to be escalated and manage those issues to closure.
  • Partner with regional managers and project-owners to identify and ensure closure on resource & skill gaps.

  • BS or above in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • >8 years project management experience in integrated software and hardware products/projects within the R&D or Applications engineering environment.
  • Project Management Professional with current PMP certification preferred.
  • Good organizational and communication skills including the ability to communicate and foster communication within the project team.
  • Prior experience in managing project teams located in multiple geographic locations.
  • Experience in developing and standardizing project management processes.
  • Background experience in the ATE industry is a strong advantage.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $140,500 to 224,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
