Pratt & Whitney (P&W) Military Engines F135 Sustainment is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Regional Fleet and Logistics Program Manager for the F135 International Program with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to lead a team of Country Logistics Program Managers (LPM), Field Support Engineers (FSE) and Technicians in support of F135 international customers.

Ensures each country-focused team and sites are meeting customer expectations and are abiding by appropriate Raytheon/PW policies and the country specific TAA.  This position within F135 Sustainment is a customer facing role in a high visibility and cross functional environment from the flight line to the Joint Program Office (JPO), integrating with all major PW operational functions that support the F135 program.

 A successful candidate will have the ability to build trust and strong working relationships with customers, partners, and internal organizations.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely and collaborate with internal P&W teams (Customer Support Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Integrated Customer Support, Lightning Operations Center, Depot Operations, Engineering and ALIS teams) to assist FSEs and country LPMs in resolution of emerging customer issues and maintain flexibility to resolve constantly changing customer priorities.
  • Meet regularly with JPO and in-country Counterparts to manage customer expectations and priorities.
  • Ensure key delivery metrics are tracked and measured, taking appropriate actions to meet program objectives.
  • Visit sites within assigned region to meet with onsite employees and meet with customers to provide leadership support and get program level propulsion feedback.
  • Work with F135 Contracts Team frequently to ensure current customer needs are in the contract and funding, and future planning for new customers and site stand up.
  • Support the F135 International Site Activation & Transition Manager, hire and ensure a smooth transition into country for new FSEs and Technicians, and ensure new customers and sites successfully transition from concept to Initial Operational Capability (IOC).
  • Represent the “voice of the customer” for their assigned region at IPMT,  SPMT, CSIPT and other program meetings.
  • Provide team leadership actions to ensure:  
    • Training and administrative requirements are accomplished by assigned employees within established timelines.
    • Customer feedback is received on a regular basis, that records are tracked and trended on customer satisfaction, and any grievances are addressed immediately
    • Contract adherence for onsite FSE coverage, Program Reviews and customer support is consistently provided.
    • Support the country LPMs and FSEs within your region in coordinating and completing Fleet Management Plans (FMP) for fleet campaigns, and provide guidance for Contractor Field Team (CFT) efforts

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • BS/BA degree required. 
  • 10+ years of technical or program management experience in an aviation related field required.
  • At least 3 years of managerial and leadership experience required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Advanced degree and/or M.B.A degree is preferred.
  • JCL2 Certification, Knowledge of TAAs, Global Trade/ITAR Requirements
  • F135 familiarity: Fleet Operations & Fleet Management, Supply Chain Management, Support Equipment Management, HPSI structure, PBL contracting & requirements process, Taxes Tariffs and Duties with respect to GAM.        
  • Previous F135 FSE experience
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
