This role is responsible for negotiating and managing complex international vendor agreements, commercializing supplier and technology partnerships, licensing Choice Marks, and optimizing international manufacturing and distribution channels. Acting as a strategic partner to International Operations and regional leadership, this position translates enterprise growth, brand, and goโ€toโ€market priorities into procurementโ€enabled initiatives that protect brand integrity, enhance franchisee value, and drive sustainable revenue.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:****Strategic Leadership & Enterprise Partnership*** Lead the development and execution of Choiceโ€™s international procurement strategy in partnership with Regional Leadership and International Operations to ensure alignment with global objectives and local market dynamics.* Own strategic roadmaps that increase value for master franchisors, including commercial models, supplier solutions, onboarding plans, and valueโ€realization frameworks.* Serve as the primary procurement partner to International Operations leadership, translating growth, standards, and GTM priorities into actionable procurement initiatives.* Collaborate closely with Brand, Franchise Development, Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure offerings are compliant, brandโ€aligned, and operationally scalable.**Business Development & Vendor Ecosystem Management*** Identify, recruit, and commercialize strategic international vendor partnerships that scale with Choiceโ€™s global growth strategy.* Negotiate complex international contracts across manufacturing, distribution, licensing of Choice Marks, technology, and other monetized services.* Build and manage a diversified, resilient global vendor portfolio capable of delivering consistent, brandโ€aligned solutions across geographies.**Financial Governance & Revenue Assurance*** Own financial tracking, reporting, and analytics for international procurement revenue streams, including licensing income, fees, rebates, and monetized technology.* Implement revenue assurance practices to identify irregularities, mitigate leakage, and protect Choiceโ€™s commercial interests.* Partner with Finance on accurate revenue recognition, forecasting, business case development, and sustainable pricing and commissioning structures.**Supply Chain Strategy & Risk Management*** Leverage Choiceโ€™s global scale to secure favorable commercial terms while diversifying supply chains to mitigate risk and ensure continuity.* Partner with regional logistics, sourcing, and quality teams to optimize global distribution networks and localize solutions where appropriate.**Franchisee & Customer Experience*** Act as an escalation point for franchisee and master franchisor procurement issues, ensuring timely resolution, high service levels, and continuous improvement of the procurement experience.**QUALIFICATIONS:****Education*** Bachelorโ€™s degree (BA or BS) is required.**Experience*** 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, business development, account management, distribution, or related commercial roles with increasing strategic scope.**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities*** Demonstrated expertise in negotiating complex international contracts and managing global vendor ecosystems.* Strong strategic planning, roadmap development, and program execution capabilities.* High level of commercial acumen with a revenue assurance mindset.* Proven ability to influence and partner across regions, cultures, and internal Centers of Excellence.* Excellent analytical, financial, stakeholder management, and communication skills.* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.* Foreign language capability and multiโ€market experience preferred.**SALARY RANGE:**The salary range for this position is **$132,143 - $155,000 annually**. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on the terms of Choice's Management Incentive Plan (MIP).The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
