Job description

Optometrist Opportunity

Radiant Vision EyeCare, located in Port Orange, Florida, is looking for a part-time Optometrist who brings warmth, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care. We welcome both experienced optometrists and motivated recent graduates to join our growing practice, where you'll have the opportunity to build lasting patient relationships while continuing to develop your clinical skills. With a focus on personalized service, comprehensive eye examinations, soft contact lens fittings, and dry eye management, Radiant Vision EyeCare is dedicated to delivering exceptional vision care in a supportive, welcoming environment. We seek someone who is efficient, reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a practice that values high-quality care and a positive patient experience. In return, you'll benefit from a flexible part-time schedule, an established patient base, and the opportunity to grow with a practice expanding to meet the needs of the community.

For those relocating to Port Orange, you'll find a welcoming coastal community that blends a relaxed suburban feel with easy access to the best of Florida's Fun Coast. Located just south of Daytona Beach and near the Halifax River, Port Orange offers proximity to Atlantic beaches, scenic parks, local dining, shopping, and year-round outdoor recreation. Spend your free time boating, fishing, kayaking, exploring nearby nature trails, or visiting destinations such as Ponce Inlet, Daytona Beach Shores, and Daytona International Speedway. With warm weather, family-friendly neighborhoods, and convenient access to I-95, Daytona Beach International Airport, and the greater Central Florida area, Port Orange is a great place to settle in, grow your career, and enjoy coastal living.

Founded in 2022, Radiant Vision EyeCare is committed to enhancing the community's quality of life by providing exceptional, tailored optometry services in a warm and welcoming environment. The practice offers comprehensive eye examinations, soft contact lens fittings, and dry eye management, with a continued focus on early detection, patient education, and personalized treatment. As Radiant Vision EyeCare expands to two examination lanes and plans for future growth, we're looking for a doctor who is excited to be part of the next chapter of our practice.

What You'll Do:

As a part-time Optometrist, you will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, provide soft contact lens fittings, support dry eye management, educate patients on their vision and eye health, and document thoroughly in electronic health records. You'll see an average of 14 patients per day while working collaboratively with a supportive practice team to create a smooth, welcoming patient experience. This role is ideal for a Florida-licensed optometrist who is reliable, efficient, detail-oriented, comfortable with Optos, and available to work one day per week, generally 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some Saturday availability as needed. As an independent contractor with 1099 status, you'll have the flexibility to maintain a part-time schedule while contributing to a growing practice focused on compassionate, personalized care.
