Job description

Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist for our Cath Lab to join our dynamic team at a well-known facility in San Diego! This role is instrumental in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing various cardiac procedures.
As a Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist, you will work closely with cardiologists and nurses during invasive cardiovascular procedures, such as angiograms, stent placements, and catheterizations. Your technical expertise will ensure the smooth operation of the Cath Lab and that patient safety is always prioritized. Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in performing invasive cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab setting.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile field during procedures.
  • Monitor and document patients' vital signs and device functions throughout the procedure.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly cared for and maintained for optimal performance.
  • Communicate effectively with the medical team and provide patient education pre- and post-procedure.
  • Adhere to safety and quality control protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Minimum Requirements:

At least three (3) years of full-time experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist within the last five (5) years.
Minimum one (1) year of hands-on experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or Interventional Cardiology environment.
Certification as one of the following:
  • RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCI), or
  • RCVT - Registered Cardiovascular Technologist, or
  • ARRT (CI or CV specialty) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA-approved).
Proficiency in scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring systems, radiation safety, and sterile technique.
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced procedural environment.
U.S. Citizenship required.
