What is an International Franchise?

An international franchise is a business model where a company (the franchisor) grants the rights to individuals or companies (franchisees) in other countries to operate its brand, products, or services. This allows businesses to expand globally while franchisees benefit from an established brand and business system. International franchising involves adapting to different legal, cultural, and market conditions in each country. It is a popular way for brands to grow internationally without investing heavily in new markets themselves.
