Job description

SUMMARY
Reporting to the company's Chief Revenue Officer, Faris Machinery is looking for a growth minded leader to manage their diverse fleet of equipment. The Fleet Manager would oversee the full life cycle of approximately 200-400 machines, bumper to bumper, cradle to grave. This leader would own the company‑wide fleet operations and drive equipment readiness, utilization, uptime, and financial performance across the rental and sales fleet.
 
Headquartered in Commerce City, CO, and since 1953 Faris machinery has been a trusted partner to Colorado's construction and municipality sectors. Faris is proud to be the exclusive dealer of Ammann ABG Pavers, Rapid International Plants, and Astec's CON-E-CO, RexCon, and BMH concrete batch plants across the rodeo states. We offer ASTEC Industries' entire concrete batch plant line, including portable concrete batching plants, stationary concrete batching plants, plant upgrades, and all concrete batching accessories in CO, OK, NM, UT, WY, and MT.  We offer ABG RCC Pavers in CO, NE, KS, MT, WY, UT, NV, AZ and TX.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • End‑to‑end accountability for fleet execution
  • Operational Responsibilities
  • Own the full lifecycle of fleet assets—from acquisition to disposition
  • Drive utilization, uptime, and availability across all equipment
  • Manage maintenance schedules, inspections, and repair prioritization
  • Coordinate daily with Service, Parts, Yard, and Sales teams
  • Oversee dispatch, readiness, and equipment availability for rentals and sales
  • Monitor fleet performance, operating cost, and ROI
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, safety, and company policies
  • Lead Fleet Coordinator execution and accountability
  • Ensure accurate rental billing and full revenue capture
