About the Executive Sous Chef position
The Executive Sous Chef will be second in leadership reporting to the Executive Chef.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
  • Making every single meal a feast for the eyes and treat for the tastebuds

  • Directing daily kitchen activities as well as coaching and developing a team

  • Assist with hiring, training, and performance management

  • Supporting the Executive Chef plan events, manage staff and labor, inventory and food safety in the kitchen

  • Encouraging and addressing guest feedback

  • Coordinate with Sales, Catering, and Event Teams

  • Ensure banquet production timelines are met

  • Working closely with the Executive Chef to forecast and plan

  • Support menu development and recipe standardization

What we need from you
  • Degree or certificate in Culinary Arts

  • 4 years' experience as a chef

  • At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, or equivalent combination of education and culinary/kitchen operations experience

  • Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays

The salary range for this role is $67,000 to $87,000. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
