Job Summary:
Restaurant Brands International Inc. is one of the world's largest quick service restaurant companies, and they are seeking a Disaster Recovery Lead to build and scale an enterprise disaster recovery program. This role requires expertise in disaster recovery planning, business continuity, and risk management across global, multi-site environments.
Responsibilities:
• Lead enterprise Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy, governance, and program execution
• Define and implement application tiering, business impact analysis (BIA), RTO, and RPO frameworks
• Drive enterprise-wide DR testing, validation, and failover exercises
• Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Application teams to ensure resilience Establish DR metrics, KPIs, and executive reporting dashboards
• Align DR program with NIST, ISO 22301, and ITIL frameworks
• Oversee risk assessments, gap analysis, and remediation planning
• Integrate DR capabilities into broader cybersecurity and business continuity programs
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Proven leadership in enterprise DR program development and execution
• Expertise in RTO/RPO design, high availability, backup/recovery, and failover architectures
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 22301, ITIL, and risk management frameworks
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in global environments
• Experience in QSR, retail, or franchise-based global organizations
• Certifications such as CBCP, DRII, or ITIL
• Experience with CMDB, service mapping, and dependency modeling tools
• Familiarity with cybersecurity operations and incident response integration
• Executive communication and stakeholder management
