ABOUT THE ROLE:
We're looking for an Internal Agency Service Representative to support our Internal Sales team by managing inbound service-related requests, qualifying customer inquiries, and ensuring policies move smoothly through underwriting and servicing workflows. This role is critical to the operation of the Internal Sales department and plays a key part in maintaining productivity, compliance, and a professional customer experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Handle inbound calls and emails, qualifying customer inquiries, and determining eligibility for Internal Sales support
  • Verify that customers are not working with a partner agent before providing service or routing requests
  • Respond to inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, billing clarification, and claim submission guidance
  • Process assigned service tasks including uploading documents, requesting missing information, and responding to underwriting requests
  • Track outstanding client requirements such as completing inspections, photo retakes, discount documentation, and proactively follow up to resolution
  • Support onboarding and ongoing servicing workflows for new and existing policies
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential client records in the CRM and internal systems
  • Provide administrative and operational support to ensure efficient day-to-day Internal Sales operations
  • Assist with improving and maintaining servicing workflows, documentation standards, and internal processes

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Prior Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience in a service, sales support, or CSR role
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, call-driven or task-queue environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong ability to track outstanding items and close loops without reminders
  • Comfortable working in CRM systems, document management tools, and internal platforms
  • Ability to assess issues, determine next steps, and resolve efficiently
  • Capable of managing multiple active requests while meeting response-time expectations
  • Comfort handling customer conversations that require clarity, boundaries, and professionalism

The office environment is fast-paced and collaborative. An employee must be willing and able to work their regularly assigned work schedule onsite, and in times of need, be able to work an extended schedule depending on company or departmental needs, project requirements, or customer demands.
