Position Summary

The Marketing Specialist will be a hands on, data driven marketing professional who will own and elevate the company's marketing strategy while working with external marketing consultants and internal sales leadership. The role is designed to blend strategic coordination, tactical execution, and strong sales alignment to ensure that the company's objectives are met. The Marketing Specialist will take an active role within the company, taking ownership of trade shows, marketing performance tracking, CRM usage, while working cross functionally. There is a long-term opportunity to expand the role as the company's marketing needs evolve. 


Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Plan, coordinate, attend, and support all trade shows, conferences, and marketing events
  • Manage booth logistics, promotional materials, vendor coordination, and onsite execution of events
  • Actively engage with customers and prospects at shows, showcasing the Company's products and services
  • Track and communicate both measurable and non-measurable ROIs, including leads, customer interactions, and strategic value
  • Coordinate marketing communication strategies to ensure consistent branding, messaging, and themes across all channels.
  • Support campaigns, promotions, advertising opportunities, and special events
  • Research and design strategic messaging for targeted customer segments and channels
  • Partner with the external marketing consultants as the internal marketing owner
  • Collaborate with consultants on website improvements, SEO, campaign design and execution, and branding initiatives
  • Support the long-term goal of strengthening internal marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and report on marketing KPI's and campaign performance, detailing actionable insights for leadership
  • Manage and improve company CRM usage across marketing initiatives
  • Ensure leads, trade show interactions, and customer data are properly captured in CRM
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Develop and manage customer surveys to understand actions and preferences and use those insights to refine marketing strategy and messaging
  • Act a liaison cross functionally. Participate in the annual budgeting and market planning process
  • Support customer visits to gain understanding of product applications and market needs

Requirements

 Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of direct experience in the coordination and execution of marketing initiatives and operations
  • Documented continuing professional development/ education of marketing strategies/ software/ principles
  • Experience utilizing CRMs
  • Strong analytical skillset with the ability to track KPIs and ROI
  • Ability to travel and be highly visible at trade shows and events
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating across teams and partners


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience within the metals industry
  • Prior experience with HubSpot
