Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Family Medicine Physician you will be a central and cornerstone provider in our physician-facing organization, delivering comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centered medical care to individuals and families across all ages and stages of life. This vital role is critical in promoting long-term health, wellness, and managing a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions, profoundly impacting the health outcomes of our Kansas communities.
Every day you will conduct thorough patient evaluations, leveraging your expertise to accurately diagnose and expertly treat a wide array of medical conditions. You will provide essential preventive care, guide patients through health maintenance strategies, and empower them with crucial patient education. Your responsibilities will also include adeptly managing chronic diseases, performing minor procedures, and strategically coordinating care with specialists, all while diligently building lasting patient and family relationships. You will meticulously document all encounters, communicate effectively with patients, and ensure strict adherence to evidence-based guidelines, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will possess broad clinical expertise in family medicine, strong diagnostic acumen, and demonstrate a compassionate, holistic approach to patient care. You must be a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician with an active license in Kansas (or eligibility to obtain one), committed to fostering enduring patient relationships and dedicated to continuous professional development. Job Requirements
Required
  • Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
  • Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency ("DEA") registration;
  • Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital;
  • Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution
  • Doctorate MD or DO required
  • Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required
