NOCD creates access to online therapy for people with OCD through our telehealth platform. In the NOCD app, Members can quickly access and schedule live, face-to-face video therapy sessions with our national network of licensed Therapists that specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) - considered the "gold standard" in OCD treatment.
At NOCD, we help people reclaim their lives with clinically proven OCD treatment, by removing barriers to OCD care, and reducing the stigma associated with OCD. We're changing the world and need other like-minded individuals to accelerate and expand our efforts.

Opportunity Overview
We're building the technology foundation for the next phase of NOCD and we want you to help shape it.
As our Senior Software Engineer, Platform & Infrastructure, you'll have meaningful ownership across software engineering, AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automation, and developer experience. You'll help establish the systems and engineering practices that allow our teams to move faster while keeping our platform secure, reliable, and scalable.
This is an opportunity to build, influence, and solve problems that haven't been solved yet-while working on technology that directly supports access to life-changing OCD treatment..
What You'll Do
Software Engineering
  • Build and maintain production full-stack features and services.
  • Develop APIs and microservices using Python, TypeScript, or similar technologies.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and engineering standards.

DevOps & Platform
  • Own and evolve AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Design and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and developer tooling.
  • Manage Kubernetes and Docker environments.
  • Build scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure patterns for engineering teams.

Reliability & Security
  • Improve observability, monitoring, and production reliability.
  • Lead troubleshooting, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
  • Implement cloud security and infrastructure best practices.
  • Partner with Security and Engineering to support HIPAA, SOC 2, and other compliance requirements.

Technical Leadership
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design to solve complex technical problems.
  • Mentor engineers and help establish scalable engineering practices.
  • Take ownership of technical initiatives from design through production.

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
  • Strong software engineering background with production application experience.
  • Strong experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or similar.
  • Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.
  • Experience owning technical initiatives and working cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated environments.
  • Experience with internal developer platforms or developer tooling.
  • Experience with microservices or event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability tools.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or GitOps.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, cloud security, or infrastructure compliance.

Pay Transparency
The expected pay range for this position is $160,000 to $200,000. Actual pay will be based on the individual's qualifications and experience. This role is also eligible for annual performance-based incentives tied to individual achievement and company-wide goals
