Senior Full Stack Software Engineer | Chicago, Illinois, United States Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Python/Java/React/AWS) - Remote (US, CST Hours) - 12 Month Contract About the Role Join a dynamic, forward-thinking engineering team as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, building innovative cloud-native solutions for enterprise-scale applications. Work remotely from anywhere in the US (CST hours) while collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to deliver impactful features and drive modernization efforts. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role with opportunities for professional growth and direct influence on technical direction.

Responsibilities - Architect, develop, and operate scalable full stack cloud applications using AWS serverless technologies. - Create intuitive, high-performance UI interfaces with React, utilizing hooks, component composition, context, and state management. - Write clean, maintainable code in Python, Java, TypeScript, and Node.js, following best practices.

- Define and manage application infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Serverless Framework, AWS CloudFormation). - Lead feature development end-to-end: ideation, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. - Maintain robust DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments and rapid iteration.

- Refactor and modernize legacy systems, supporting cloud migrations and adopting cloud-native architectures. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align engineering with business goals and user needs. - Utilize analytics and user feedback to optimize product functionality and user experience.
