Job description

In Marketing and Communications at Main Campus Lee Building
Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Monday -Friday.
Summary:
Works with the Communications Manager and Communications leadership team to establish communication and marketing strategies for internal (employee) audiences. Responsible for implementing employee communications content and contributing to programs that actively engage internal audiences on an organization-wide basis. This includes messaging and programs to support the mission, vision, and values of Children's of Alabama through effective communication channels.
Other information:
General office equipment including computer. Able to use Adobe Creative Suite and/or Microsoft Office programs, desktop publishing and Internet. Expertise in video editing and media-specific software programs required and will be taught.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in mass communications, public relations or related field required
Experience:
  • 5 years or more experience in field of marketing or communications at staff level

SCM is responsible for generating and distributing timely and accurate information about Children's of Alabama. The department handles all of Children's public relations, media relations, public affairs, advertising, marketing and internal communications. The department also produces all printed materials for both on and off campus constituencies.
