Based in Northern Virginia, Axiologic Solutions LLC, has an opportunity for you to become part of our high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key federal clients. We are currently seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to support our growing team.

Overall Assignment Description: 

Communications specialist to author and review products dealing with complex issues and provide guidance and editing services regarding logic, clarity, consistency, comprehensiveness, relevance, style and format (as well as grammar, word usage, spelling and punctuation) in support of assessments and evaluations, cost estimating, and planning and programming activities for the consumption of senior NGA leadership. Support the Oversight and Engagement division to ensure operational effectiveness through planning, logistics, human resources, strategic communications and engagement support. The Communications specialist communicates and negotiates with divisions and other subject matter experts as well as with the Visual Information specialist to create accurate and compelling visual content. Multitasking, prioritizing, and rapidly adapting to changing organizational requirements while producing error-free material is crucial.

Duties include:

Assists Leadership with their strategic communications to stakeholders, Oversight (e.g. ODNI) and the IPC workforce.

Analyze customer needs; make appropriate recommendations for message/information development, communication method selection, and timing of messages. Tailor messages by target audience.

Develop and oversee implementation of a strategic communications plan to support its important role in the planning and programming processes.

Coordinates related themes/talking points related to communications to ensure adherence to agency publication policies and standards.

Reviews, edits and formats all strategic communications according to established agency publication policies prior to leadership release.

Review and analyze draft material for clarity, consistency, style, format, logic, and organization, as well as grammar, word usage, spelling and punctuation.

Communicates with internal staff and external partners using multiple channels (jabber, email, etc.). Reviewing products dealing with complex issues and providing guidance to others regarding logic, clarity, comprehensiveness, relevance and brevity.

Develops or recommends various communication tools to Leadership to maintain a consistent message theme and improve transparency in Leadership decision making.

Orchestrates change management activities to assist the leadership in communicating and achieving strategic shifts impacting the workforce.

Facilitate/moderate weekly/monthly/quarterly small to large Senior-level Offsite meetings

Support Office- or Division-level needs for meeting minutes/actions/key takeaways to support or facilitate internal communication processes.

Required:

Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI poly

Possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Public Affairs, Communications/Broadcasting, Management or at least 8 years of relevant experience in Public Affairs,

Communications/Broadcasting, Management or equivalent relevant fields in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.

Possess at least 12 years of experience.

Demonstrated experience in developing talking points, briefings, official correspondence, and articles for executive level management.

Desired:

Demonstrated experience in technical writing.

Demonstrated experience in researching, writing, editing, and publishing communications products.

Demonstrated experience in managing tight deadlines, understanding and executing project scope within distinct timelines, managing and monitoring production schedules.

Demonstrated experience with the intelligence analysis and production process.

Demonstrated experience of Analysis Directorate mission and vision.

Demonstrated experience of Department of Defense and Intelligence Community missions, policies, and procedures.
