Job Summary

This is a high-impact role that will shape and elevate communications strategy during a period of rapid growth and evolution. In this hybrid role you will lead the communications function, develop and execute annual communications plans and project campaigns, translate functional priorities into clear, engaging and compliant internal communication content, serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, and build Real Estate's reputation internally and externally. You will play a critical role in transforming how we communicate by bringing innovative ideas and a high degree of creativity, driving alignment with business goals, and motivating elevated performance across the Real Estate department. This role requires someone equally comfortable setting strategy, advising executives, writing compelling content, designing high-quality materials, and personally producing deliverables

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute integrated communications plans and strategies designed to support achievement of business objectives.
  • Lead and oversee communications campaigns, content development, and change management support that translate complex topics into clear, compelling narratives that show business value, operational impact and strategic contribution. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Real Estate leadership, helping to identify key narratives, shape messages, create high visibility presentations, manage sensitive communications, and boost leadership visibility.
  • Develop communication materials across multiple digital and traditional formats, including presentations, talking points, intranet content, videos, emails and social media.
  • Raise awareness internally and externally of how Real Estate adds value for the business and enables stakeholders to transform opportunity into profit.
  • Drive operational excellence by improving processes and supporting quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Siemens Energy Corporate Communications to ensure Real Estate communications strategies align with company strategy and branding.
  • Leverage AI-enabled and agile ways of working to enhance productivity, communication quality, and insight generation.
  • Use measurement, analysis and insights to continuously improve content.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
  • Driven, top-performing individual who thrives in high-expectation environments and is motivated to deliver results and impact.
  • Strong corporate and executive communication skills, with track record of developing and executing communication strategies that engage target audiences, motivate desired action, and build reputation.
  • Proven ability to serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and stakeholders and to operate with credibility in high-visibility, high-stakes environments.
  • A structured, agile, and proactive mindset, with a strong bias for action and ownership, and a passion for using AI to streamline work and boost productivity.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field required.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience managing corporate communications in a global matrixed organization.
  • Expertise in corporate communications, executive communications, change management communications and campaign development.
  • Strong writing, storytelling and messaging development skills.
  • Strong visual communication skills and the ability to create polished presentations, basic graphics and video content. Must be highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
  • Hands-on experience managing communications channels including SharePoint, meetings, events, email platforms, social media and Viva Engage.
  • Experience with managing resources and interacting with colleagues in locations around the world in different time zones.
  • Occasional international travel (5%).
