Job description

A career as a Senior Advisor, ETF Communications within the Sales Enablement and Digital Strategy team at National Bank Investments (NBI) means playing a central role in the positioning and adoption of NBI ETFs across multiple distribution channels.

You play a key role in the development and execution of content strategies, tools and training programs designed to maximize the impact of sales teams. This role combines content strategy, training and project management, supporting ETF launches, the ongoing evolution of the product offering and sales initiatives.

Acting as a key point of convergence between Product, Sales, Marketing and Compliance teams, you translate complex investment concepts into clear, compelling and compliant communications for investors, advisors and internal stakeholders. Through your expertise, you contribute directly to increasing the awareness, understanding and adoption of NBI ETFs.

Your role
  • Design and lead ETF-related content strategies, tools and training programs to maximize the impact of sales initiatives across B2C and B2B channels
  • Develop clear, consistent and accessible messaging by translating investment strategies, portfolio construction and performance drivers for various target audiences
  • Structure and maintain narratives, value propositions and differentiated positioning for ETFs targeting self-directed investors, advisors and hybrid client segments
  • Produce educational content, insights and best practices to support sales teams, distribution partners and field initiatives
  • Act as an ETF subject-matter reference, monitoring market trends, competitive positioning and industry best practices, and translating insights into actionable messaging
  • Manage end-to-end strategic ETF projects, including product launches, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives, while ensuring stakeholder alignment and performance tracking

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in the Canadian ETF industry, including both traditional and alternative solutions
  • Strong experience in financial communications and multichannel content strategy
  • Proven experience in project management and training content development
  • Solid understanding of the positioning of investment solutions for wealth management partners
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts, adapt in a fast-evolving environment, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
