Job description

General Warehouse Associate - Up to $17.50
Schedules: Monday-Thursday 5am to 330pm or 4pm to 230am; Friday to Sunday 5am to 530pm

We are currently seeking General Warehouse Associates for a distribution center in Breinigsville, PA. This position will consist of unloading trucks, breaking down pallets onto a sorter, and cart building for loading trucks. This is a physically demanding position which will require heavy lifting at a fast pace for 10 hour shifts. The ideal candidates for this opportunity will be familiar with distribution and warehouse environments, able to work independently or as part a team, and able to use an RF Scanner.
Job duties/responsibilities
  • Safety break down pallets onto sorter
  • Unload trailers directly onto sorter/conveyor system
  • Provide assistance to team members as required
  • Participate in process improvement by communicating to supervisor and/or team lead
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
  • Support and maintain corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices and work instructions.
  • All other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Physical requirements include: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time
