Job description

MULTIMEDIA RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Capture photos and b-roll at all RailCats games and events
  • Create in-game social media content
  • Upload and organize content into digital asset management platform
  • Produce highlight reels and promotional videos and graphics
  • Assist with mascot appearances and other off-site events
  • Assist in executing in-game entertainment and promotions
  • Assist in executing entertainment and giveaways
  • Assist with pocket schedule distribution
  • Other duties as assigned

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
  • Have Fun!
  • Creativity and motivation - we want you to create and execute social media. Take initiative with fun and exciting activities
  • Comfortability interacting with players and fans - setting up interviews with players, doing fun skits, capturing fan experiences during the game is a must
  • Organizational skills - you will be given a certain number of tasks a week to complete. All photos and videos must also be organized as we are working in a group
  • Be excited to work in a professional sports environment
  • Fan and community engagement (mascot appearances, pocket schedule delivery, etc)
  • Assist with stadium cleanliness
  • Special events
  • Assist with all tarp pulls - which may include non-game days, weekends and or holidays

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graphic design experience required
  • Proven proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite required
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop and Premiere) - Canva will not be accepted in this position
  • Video editing/motion graphic experience preferred
  • Undergraduate (preferably junior or senior) or graduate student attending accredited university
  • Must be able to earn college credit for internship-no exceptions
  • Must be able to commit to work the entire internship period from start to finish
  • Willingness and ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time
  • Highly motivated with strong work ethic
  • Passion for sports and strong desire to work in a team environment

COMPENSATION: $750 per month
