About Anderson Injury Lawyers
Anderson Injury Lawyers, headquartered in Fort Worth, TX, has been practicing law since 2006 and has offices across the DFW area including two offices in Dallas and two in Fort Worth. We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support our accounting team with client fund distributions and other day-to-day accounting functions.
This internship is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field who wants hands-on experience in a professional office. Flexible daytime scheduling is available, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and records.
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, client fund distributions, and expense tracking.
  • Support bank reconciliations and help resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with firm procedures.
  • Collaborate with accounting and legal staff to support daily operations.
  • Handle confidential financial and client information with professionalism.

Required Qualifications:
  • Current college student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
  • Available to work at least 20 hours per week.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Dependable, professional, and eager to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous internship or office experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or administration.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online or other accounting software.
  • Interest in a career in accounting, finance, or business operations.
  • Reliable transportation for occasional travel between DFW offices.
