Our rehabilitation teams provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse who excels in this role:
As a RN Charge Nurse, you will serve as a frontline leader and critical support for nursing staff, physicians, and providers. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care and clinical oversight during assigned shifts
- Prioritizing and coordinating patient care activities to meet unit demands
- Assisting with admissions, discharges, and care planning
- Serving as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing team members
- Monitoring patient conditions and facilitating timely communication with providers
- Ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety standards
- Collaborating with nursing leadership to support quality, safety, and staff performance initiatives
- Functioning as a point of contact in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer or Nursing leadership

Applicants should have a current Pennsylvania or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred; Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred.
- Experience: Six months of Medical/Surgical experience preferred.
- Licenses: Must have a current Pennsylvania or compact state RN license.
- Education: Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
