Job description

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Join our team as a Student Campus Ambassador and play a vital role in promoting Spectrum’s brand on campus. You'll be the face of Spectrum, engaging with students, faculty, and alumni to share opportunities at our company.


Event Coordination:

  • Organize and participate in career fairs and networking events.
  • Coordinate tabling and lobby days by collaborating with campus career services.

Promotion and Marketing:

  • Use social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn) to promote events with approved content.
  • Collaborate on content creation for marketing approval.

Engagement:

  • Lead and participate in campus events, ensuring a strong Spectrum presence.
  • Engage with potential ambassadors, employees, and student organizations.

Feedback and Reporting:

  • Collect and report event feedback to improve Spectrum’s campus strategies.
  • Provide insights on campus trends and student interests

Required qualifications

  • Must be a Junior currently enrolled University of North Carolina A&T and completing a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, or Marketing
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

Preferred qualifications

  • Demonstrated desire to provide high level of customer service to candidates and internal clients

  • Proven ability to build internal and external relationships

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information

  • Strong time management, communication and organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Prior experience supporting early talent programs
