TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Intern to join our team. The Accounting and Finance Internship Program provides undergraduate or graduate students with hands on exposure to corporate accounting and finance operations. Interns will work closely with the Finance & Accounting team to support day to day accounting activities, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This program emphasizes practical learning, professional development, and real world application of accounting principles.

Accounting Support

  • Assist with account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits.
  • Maintain accounting records and financial documentation.
  • Assist with process documentation and internal control compliance.

Finance Support

  • Assist in preparing financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Perform variance analysis on revenue, expenses, and operating results.
  • Analyze financial data and identify trends or anomalies.
  • Assist with special projects involving profitability analysis, cost management, and business performance reviews.
  • Support ad hoc financial modeling and data analysis assignments.

General Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, Accounting, HR, and Operations.
  • Participate in department meetings and training sessions.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Learning Objectives

  • Gain practical experience in corporate accounting and finance operations.
  • Understand financial reporting and month-end close processes.
  • Develop proficiency in Excel-based analysis and reporting.
  • Learn how financial information supports business decision-making.

Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and finance concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred

  • Coursework in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Corporate Finance, or Financial Analysis.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Excel PivotTables, or financial reporting tools.
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Interest in Accounting, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Audit, or Consulting careers.
