Job description

Job Summary:

The Systems Integration-Senior performs work associated with the engineering, maintenance, operation, and support of the organization’s critical System’s Integration Architecture responsible for the secure exchange of health and business data/information between systems, devices and applications both across the enterprise and with external cloud services, customers and partners.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning:

  • Lead Integration project activities by coordinating work activities.
  • Prepare task list (mini-project plan) for enhancements, maintenance and project work.
  • Estimate level of effort and due dates.
  • Develop Integration standards and processes to support and facilitate integration initiatives.
  • Research emerging technology, its application to the business needs and present findings using SBAR format.
  • Participate in recruiting activities including participating in candidate screening and interviews.
  • Act as coach and mentor of Associate, Staff and Senior team members.

Architecture, Design & Engineering:

  • Perform Integration Assessments.
  • Elicit and record Integration Business and Functional Requirements.
  • Analyze the impact of proposed integration changes on existing architecture and record findings.
  • Perform systems design using modeling tools to prepare architecture diagrams.
  • Participate in Integration Architecture and Design sessions.
  • Plan, engineer, and maintain the integration of new applications and integration technology into the existing Application Integration architecture.
  • Review, validate and critique peer design and programming efforts.
  • Migrate changes across various environments.

Operations:

  • Analyze data as required to support Integration engineering and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Monitor integration performance using dashboards and reports.
  • Monitor and work integration error work queues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and errors.
  • Monitor vendor maintenance and release schedules.
  • Analyze impact of vendor upgrades and new releases in advance of changes.
  • Evaluate vendor upgrade and service bulletins and take necessary actions.
  • Update vendor specific public and private certification keys.
  • Participate in after-hours, weekend and holiday on-call rotation.
  • Maintain technical documentation.
  • Work tickets in various incident and request queues.
  • Facilitate the Integration Technical Review Board.
