Job description

Shore Point Distributing Company is expanding our team, and we are seeking a full time POS Warehouse Assistant.

Shore Point Distributing is a family-owned beverage distributor located in Freehold N.J. that carries an extensive line of national, regional and local craft beers. Shore Point Dist. is one of the largest beverage wholesalers in the state.

Position Summary

The POS Delivery & Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting POS warehouse operations, POS inventory organization, and the delivery of POS materials to retail accounts. This role requires safe vehicle and equipment operation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment. The position will also assist the merchandising team with projects as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • OSHA-certified forklift and scissor-lift operator preferred, or ability to become certified.
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Ability to safely operate an 18-foot box truck and company van.
  • Strong verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and deadline-oriented.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 165 lbs.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 165 lbs. using equipment such as pallet jacks.
  • Ability to unload, transport, and position products safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to stand, climb, bend, reach, twist, and perform physical labor throughout scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to pass a physical exam and obtain a DOT medical card required for operating an 18-foot box truck.
  • Flexible schedule with willingness to work overtime when required.
