Job Summary and Responsibilities

As ourย Clinic Immunization Specialist RNย at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, you will helpย our patients, their families, and our healthcare teamย stay protected from preventable diseasesย so they canย achieve optimal health and well-being within our community.

Every day you willย utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive immunization care for selected patient populations. You will be expected toย remain current with the latest immunization standards, educate the team on best practices, and meticulously manage vaccine inventory and data within NDIIS.

To be successful in this role, you mustย possess a strong clinical background as a Registered Nurse, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of current immunization guidelines and regulations.

  • Continues education with the latest standards for immunizations and vaccinations.
  • Assists in educating the team on newest standards.
  • Works closely with NDIIS for auditing, tracking, and information input.
  • Maintains state and private inventory.
  • Participates in annual state immunization evaluations.
