Overview

The Senior Data Scientist will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to generate actionable insights that drive business decisions and project outcomes and support data and AI use cases. This role focuses on analyzing complex datasets, building predictive models, and advising multidisciplinary teams in architecture, engineering, and consulting services. The Senior Data Scientist will also contribute to the development of best practices for data and AI across the organization. This is a full-time position paid bi-weekly on a salary basis.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with14offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

Responsibilities
    Collaborate with the Data and AI governance group, Data and AI board, and Digital Practice group to set the direction for the Lakehouse infrastructure
  • Analyze large, diverse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational or project improvements.
  • Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to inform planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Create dashboards and visualizations that communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Apply AI and machine learning methods, including generative AI, to support data and AI use cases.
  • Collaborate with business SMEs, data engineer, and the Digital Practice group to translate analytics into actionable recommendations.
  • Contribute to the growth of Parkhill's data science capabilities.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and data science applicable to the AEC and consulting sectors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
  • 7+ years in data science, analytics, or AI roles
  • Experience with AEC, engineering, or consulting environments
  • Strong proficiency in Python or R, including relevant ML libraries
  • Expertise in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) for analytics and model deployment
  • Experience with generative AI frameworks
