Job description

Job Summary:
NexCore Group is seeking a Business Development Intern to join our Denver, CO office for the summer. This role is ideal for a motivated, relationship-oriented student interested in real estate, healthcare, and strategic growth. The Business Development Intern will support efforts to identify new opportunities, build industry relationships, and expand NexCore's presence across key markets. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position will work Monday through Friday (40 hours/week) throughout the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Business Development team in identifying and researching new healthcare real estate opportunities and partnerships
  • Assist in tracking and maintaining prospect pipelines and CRM data
  • Conduct market and industry research to identify health systems, physician groups, and potential development partners
  • Prepare materials for client meetings, presentations, and conferences
  • Assist in coordinating outreach efforts, including emails, calls, and follow-ups with prospective partners
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics within healthcare real estate
  • Collaborate with internal teams (research, finance, etc.) to gather insights and support opportunity evaluation
  • Help develop briefing materials and summaries on target markets and potential clients
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as needed

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise:
  • Rising junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree (Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related major) - Required
  • Strong interest in real estate, healthcare, and business development
  • Skills:
