Pulmonary Function Technician

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Pulmonary Function Technician performs a variety of pulmonary function tests, including lung capacity, diffusion capacity, and blood oxygen tests, to gather data for physician diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary disorders. The technician also assists with Pulmonary Function Laboratory services as directed by physician orders, ensuring patient safety and accurate test results.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner required
  • Associate Degree
