  • Support donor stewardship efforts by preparing acknowledgement letters, organizing outreach materials, assisting with donor communications, and helping maintain positive relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on content creation and communications initiatives, including social media posts, newsletters, event promotions, email campaigns, website updates, flyers, and other marketing materials.
  • Assist with maintaining donor, sponsor, volunteer, and event records, including data entry, file organization, list management, and tracking donations, sponsorships, in-kind contributions, and auction items.
  • Help coordinate event logistics, including gathering supplies, preparing materials and signage, supporting volunteer coordination, assisting with event setup and breakdown, and managing post-event follow-up activities.
  • Conduct research and provide administrative support for fundraising campaigns, community engagement initiatives, and development projects.
  • Represent BHcare professionally when interacting with donors, volunteers, community members, staff, and external partners.
  • Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and project updates while completing assignments within established deadlines.
  • Support additional development, marketing, and community outreach projects as assigned.

What You'll Gain:

  • Practical experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, event planning, and community engagement.
  • Exposure to marketing and communications strategies within a mission-driven organization.
  • Opportunities to develop professional skills in project coordination, relationship management, event operations, communications, and administrative support.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with donors, volunteers, community partners, and staff.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Dependable, professional, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and willing to learn donor databases, fundraising platforms, and other development-related tools.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to supporting BHcare's mission and values.
