Decision Technologies seeks a Software Engineering Intern - SharePoint Developer to join our team. This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in learning about software development, SharePoint tools, and business process automation in a professional environment.
Position Description:
The Software Engineering Intern - SharePoint Developer will assist with developing and improving internal SharePoint tools, workflows, and business systems. The intern will work with team members to help organize information, improve workflows, and support automation efforts using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
This internship is intended to provide hands-on learning experience and exposure to business systems, workflow automation, and SharePoint development.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Assist with developing SharePoint tools, forms, lists, and workflows using JSON, Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate
  • Support efforts to automate data imports and improve business processes
  • Help develop and maintain business system workflows
  • Assist with organizing and presenting business information more efficiently within SharePoint
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with team members on projects and process improvements
  • Help troubleshoot basic workflow or SharePoint-related issues as needed
  • Learn and apply software development and automation concepts in a professional setting

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Interest in software development, SharePoint, and business process automation
  • Willingness to learn Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or programming concepts through coursework, personal projects, or classroom experience is a plus, but not required
