Position Summary

This temporary internship is expected to last approximately 3–6 weeks, with work hours scheduled Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

We are seeking candidates who are dependable, professional, and detail-oriented to support day-to-day corporate facility and office operations at Trideum's Huntsville headquarters.

The Administrative Assistant Intern will work closely with the Facilities Supervisor and collaborate with other functional areas to help ensure efficient, organized, and secure daily operations. This position will provide hands-on support across facilities, security, and general administrative functions in a fast-paced corporate environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, professional, and comfortable interacting with employees, visitors, vendors, and customers. This internship is well suited for an individual interested in gaining practical experience in business administration, facilities management or related business functions.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor office ingress and egress and maintain awareness of activity within designated access areas.
  • Verify that authorized personnel follow established daily sign-in and access procedures.
  • Ensure visitors and vendors are properly signed in and escorted in accordance with established security requirements.
  • Assist with daily facility operations and general office support activities.
  • Support the organization, readiness, and upkeep of conference rooms, common areas, and shared workspaces.
  • Monitor and report facility-related issues, maintenance concerns, and potential safety hazards.
  • Assist with maintaining office and facility supply inventories and identifying replenishment needs.
  • Assist with monitoring vendors and service providers while onsite, as directed.
  • Maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when handling company information or working within sensitive areas.
  • Perform other administrative and facility support duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical program is preferred.
  • Previous customer service, office support, administrative, or facilities-related experience preferred, but not required.
  • Internship, volunteer, campus involvement, or part-time work experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional and dependable work ethic.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • US citizenship.
