Job description

The Allied Solutions internship program is a robust and consistent internship program for juniors and seniors. The program will focus on learning and development as well as hands-on experience. The program will immerse the intern into a broad range of responsibilities, allowing you to execute projects within your area of professional interests.
Interested applicants must be available during the 12-week program (May 24th - Aug. 13th, 2027). This is a full-time internship (40-hours per week) based in St. Paul, Minnesota on the Securian campus.
The Sales Operations Intern will assist the Sales Enablement & Operations Department at Allied Solutions with reporting and analytics projects. This role will focus on supporting the team with data updates, analyzing data integrity, audits, and reports on sales results, financials, and commissions. In this position, you will gain a better understanding of working on a sales operations team and gain hands-on experience with supporting a sales and service team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting & Analytics

  • Support department's reporting needs

  • Assist with data analysis projects

  • Assist with large scale audits

  • Track project progress, prepare status reports, and create report outs

Sales Operations

  • Review and validate account and product assignments for accuracy and consistency

  • Design and prepare budgeting templates to streamline annual planning

  • Oversee content management and updates for the team SharePoint site to keep information organized and current

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA)

  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate program as rising Junior or Senior, pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field

  • Familiarity with Microsoft office products, with ability to learn internal systems

  • Excel, reporting, and analytics skills required, with a passion for ongoing skill development

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple support functions
