Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and social media platforms is typically required, along with any relevant coursework or certifications. As an NFL intern, you can expect to be involved in a variety of projects that support your assigned department, such as marketing, communications, operations, or player development. Typical responsibilities may include assisting with event planning, conducting research, analyzing data, supporting social media campaigns, or helping coordinate logistics for NFL programs. Interns often gain hands-on experience by collaborating closely with full-time staff and participating in team meetings, which provides valuable exposure to the inner workings of a major sports organization. This role is fast-paced, and interns are encouraged to take initiative and contribute ideas.

  • Monitor Trends: Keep a pulse on social platforms and online communities to identify emerging trends, track sentiment shifts, and gather real-time feedback.
  • Conduct Research: Perform secondary research on industry trends, competitors, and consumer behavior, summarizing your findings into clear, concise briefs.
  • Support Study Execution: Assist lead researchers in designing and executing various studies, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and mixed-method research.
  • Analyze and Synthesize: Help with qualitative coding, quantitative data cleaning, and the preparation of deliverables like topline summaries, analysis tables, and slide decks.
Who We're Looking For
You're a naturally curious, organized, and reliable individual with a strong desire to turn data into compelling stories. You're a great fit if you have:
  • Educational Background: You are a rising junior/senior, graduate student, or recent graduate in a relevant field such as Market Research, Psychology, Business, Statistics, or Economics.
  • Organizational Skills: You are detail-oriented and reliable, with the ability to efficiently manage and organize multiple tasks and datasets.
  • Storytelling Ability: Strong writing and synthesis skills, with the ability to transform raw data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Tool Familiarity: Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets. Exposure to survey tools (like Qualtrics) or data visualization platforms (like Tableau) is a bonus.
  • Curiosity: A genuine interest in consumer behavior and the world of sports, gaming, or betting.
