As an Image and Data Analysis Research Assistant, you'll be a vital part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team at the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences, supporting innovative neuroscience research.

In this role, you will work in a dynamic research environment analyzing human brain imaging and behavioral data while contributing to meaningful discoveries and publications. 

What You'll Do: 

- Analyze human brain imaging and behavioral datasets in team-based research projects 

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary researchers across neuroscience and related fields 

- Apply programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB to interpret complex data 

- Contribute to research publications and findings 

- Utilize advanced methods including machine and deep learning where applicable 

What You Bring: 

- Degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or related field (preferred) 

- Experience in image and data analysis 

- Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB 

- Exposure to machine/deep learning (preferred)

Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $18.00 to USD $22.84. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
