Overview:
Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is currently recruiting Active-Duty U.S. Military personnel for the DoD SkillBridge Internship Program.
The program is 4-6 months in duration and offers service members an opportunity to transition into challenging assignments in areas such as:
  • Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, etc.)
  • Facilities and Operations
  • Environmental Safety, Health and Quality (ESH&Q)
  • Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD)
  • Technical Support
  • Nuclear Safety
  • Nuclear Operations
  • Cyber Security
  • Cyber Defense Information School (DINFOS)
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • High performance Computing (HPC)
  • IT and Linux Systems Engineering
  • Finance
  • Procurement
  • and other Military Occupational Code (MOC) projects

Service members will also have the opportunity to participate in career development opportunities to enhance professional growth.
This is an Evergreen requisition and will be used to fill multiple positions across the organization.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
As a DOD SkillBridge intern at ORNL you can expect meaningful work and an opportunity to contribute to our mission of scientific discoveries and technical breakthroughs for solutions in energy and national security and to provide economic benefit to the nation.

Basic Qualifications:
Applicants must be active-duty U.S. military and have 180 days remaining in service by the start date of the internship.
